J'avais le projet de voyager avec mon mari cet été en Islande ; tour classique au Sud-ouest puis à l'intérieur et sur la côte Nord en camping et B&B. Qu'en est-il actuellement des séquelles de l'éruption volcaniqu ? qui pourrait me donner des renseignements sur l'état actuel des routes et des chemins de randonnée et du paysage en général?

J'ai eu une réponse toute récente (hier) d'Utivist à ce sujet.
Je te livre le mail :

"The first eruptions took place on the Fimmvörðuháls trail itself and some part of the trail is now covered in lava. Several people from Útivist went over the trail last week and marked a trail through the new lava. This new lava makes this a very interesting place to visit this summer because the sulphur in the new lava makes it so colourful and you can see yellow, red and even green lava when hiking there. There is ash on the trail but the ash is thick and provides a hard and stable ground to walk on. There is snow on the trail for about a five kilometers, but the snow is now black because of the ash. I recommend taking masks and goggles in case of flying ash but it's very unlikely that you will actually need those. It would have to be dry for a long time along with the weather being very windy if you are actually to need those.

The above information describes the current Fimmvörðuháls but it could change as every rainy day changes the situation for the better. The Básar area is already almost completely clean as we were very lucky about how little ash fell on the site there. I don't know if there is anything to clean (which is possible to clean) in August but all help is always welcome ."

Le col de Fimmvorduhals (entre Basar et Thorsmork) est réouvert et praticable (actuellement, mais on ne sait jamais)

Il y a eu peu de retombées de cendres sur Thorsmork. Par extrapolation, on peut donc dire que le nord de l'eyjafjallajokull est plutôt préservé (on peut constater qu'au sud, bien sûr, ça n'est pas le cas : http://islande2010.m...ss-before-and-after/

Les lunettes de piscine et les masques (type FFP2, pas ceux de Roselyne) son conseillés mais probablement inutiles

Il est impératif de filtrer l'eau des rivières avant le la boire
